I had one of these in the late 60s early 70s, It had 4 wheels and two peddles that you stood on in the middle, and you peddled up and down,I want to try to find one now, does anyone remember them or know where to get one?
Thanks

One of my friends had something like this, but it looked like it dated from the late 1980s - early 1990s. My feet where a bit big for it & I nearly fell off trying to go fast.

I had one that was 2 wheeled and invovled alot of precision balance but again that was late 80's material. In terms of fun it lasted all of 5 minutes, then I fell off and my friends laughed and I never used it again until a production of Godspell I rather not remember.

I had a Skat-Skoota. It was in the 60's, not later. I had to save my money for it. Around $4.00--which I figure translates to around $20.00 by today's economy. When I had finally saved enough for it, I took it doors for a try. A neighbor, who weighed more than I, tried it as well--that was the end of it She must have been too heavy for the axles and poof. It was gone! If you search "skat skoota" on the web there is a great picture of an ad from Sear's which shows the item at $4.44. Nice to see it!!

We have listed a Skat Skoota on E Bay two days ago!!
I think you woud enjoy it. It was stashed away in the attic for a long time and rediscovered during a move and put away again.
It's time for it to move on.
Search Skat Skoota.

Had a Skat Skoota and learned to move fast. I went everywhere with this. It was a great toy. I could just pick it up and carry it with me in the car to cousin's house. The original $4.44 price cracks me up. Jealous of Leslie who still has one. People think I may this toy up!
