Does anyone remember this?

I've still got mine at home somewhere. It may even work, after a fashion.

Five little knobs that you pushed forward and back and twirled to make your players advance and retreat along pre-cut slots. Teeny tiny footballs that probably got lost a lot. Players came in Generic Red, Generic Blue and a flesh-coloured sprue for you to paint in your own team's colours. Little holes in the classic "Snooker pocket" locations that would trap the ball and throw it back in. Advertising

Adverts conveniently failed to mention that turning the game on generated a noise not unlike a hoover that has one of those little footballs pinging around inside it.

I've still got mine around, & it worked the last time I tried it.

A couple of cheats were to keep moving the goalie from side to side really fast to make scoring impossible, & another was to simply blow the ball, which was light enough.
