Anyone remember this game that came out about 1983-84 I think...As I remember you had to flick chunky plastic counters from your catapult to knock down your opponents ramparts (OK small plastic wall).

This sounds a bit like Crossbows And Catapults, or were there a rash of Tolkienish action games at this time?

This all-time classic was re-released last year as a more violent-looking version including orcs and such like.

There were some great expansion sets released for Crossbows and Catapults, my most favorite being the Trojan Horse with the flinging tail. Those crossbows were a devil to work effectively on a carpet though!
