I've rediscovered this game, and mainly find it amusing because the box reads ''the 3D game of the future.'' It's always funny to find retro items that claim to be hi-tech or futuristic. Mine is dated 1969, and is manufactured by the guys that made 'Mastermind.' All it really is is noughts and crosses, or connect 4. It always reminded me of the chess game that Cpt Kirk and Spock used to play on the old Star Trek series. Boringly though It's just 4 vertical levels in which you can place pegs, and is basically a 3D Connect 4. To be honest this just makes things overly confusing, and too easy to miss pegs. Also mine is still incredibly stiff to put up and disassemble, making it too much effort to bother with ( much like 'Mousetrap'). An attempt to cash in on the 'brainy' side of board games I think, that they thought they'd cornered with 'Mastermind.'

When I was at school we had a game like this.

I remember the box had 3 gloved hands in the colours of the playing pieces pointing at the board.
