In an earlier post here, someone mentioned Crossbows and Catapults. I remember something vaguely similar to this with a cardboard playing board, themed with a lot of water and some small islands, on which various pieces sat, including a plastic fort which one player controlled, and a plastic pirate ship the other used. It had a little cannon and catapult on each side, and you won by firing plastic cannonballs at your opponents ship/fort, causing bits to ping off as if by explosive magic. It was probably springs. There was also treasure in the middle to collect, which probably affected the score. I don't remember ever scoring though, just firing plastic balls around.
I can't recall the name of it, however. I only ever played this round my nan's house, and all the toys that were there I was never allowed to take home. My cousin, however, was given them all for christmas. I'm still bitter. Anyone else remember this, or have any idea what it was called?
